SupportMusic Coalition on Coalitions for Music Education Advocacy

The SupportMusic Coalition on Coalitions Forum at 2019 Summer NAMM assembled over 70 NAMM members working to advocate for music education at the state and local level.

In an informal setting, the forum featured a FY19 Title IV Update from NAfME’s Lynn Tuttle. She presented a step-by-step guide to accessing downloadable information for NAMM member states, including: advocacy leader contacts, state legislative calendars, state budget deadlines, state board of education contacts, ESSA implementation details, contacts, timelines and more.

In addition, an unforgettable role play skit was featured with ‘not ready for prime time’ players: Ron Manus, John Mlynczak, Mary Luehrsen, and Lynn Tuttle.
