On behalf of all of us at NAMM and The NAMM Foundation, our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the recent natural disasters. Many NAMM members – and their employees and families – have been impacted along with school districts and communities that are now coping with the realities of recovery and “getting back to normal” or establishing a “new normal.”
We have learned about the many needs of school districts as music education programs get back on their feet and continue to serve students, their families and communities. NAMM is grateful for the important work of one of its grantees, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, and its Music Rising initiative which helps restore school music programs affected by natural disasters.
Donate to support this effort through the relief organizations, including one for Houston-region school districts, provided below. As we often say at The NAMM Foundation, “Together, we keep music education strong!”
