    Congratulations to the 583 school districts that are among the Best Communities in the nation for music education. The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
  • Grantee Spotlight: Orchestre à l’Ecole

    For the past several years, The NAMM Foundation has distributed music making grants to support a select number of nonprofit public service organizations. These organizations have missions to expand access and opportunity to music education for thousands of individuals and provide innovative music education and hands-on music making programs. One such program is Orchestre à l’Ecole which is changing the lives of students across France by getting them involved in orchestra classes.

    Female leaders in the music products industry are combining their energies and resources to establish The Smart Women in Music (SWIM) Fund; a fund designed to foster and support female industry professionals at various stages of their careers.
