Music Educators Gather at The 2020 NAMM Show to Discover ‘What’s New’ in Music Education

Each January, music educators from across the U.S. gather in Southern California for Music Education Days (MED) at The NAMM Show. The program offers pre-K through 12 music teachers and administrators informative sessions, inspiring performances, and the opportunity to preview the latest instruments, products and tools relevant to today’s music classrooms.

Community Music Making Sparks Joy in Southern California

The NAMM Foundation hosted several Community Music Making (CMM) events at The 2020 NAMM Show. Programming kicked off on January 18 with the All-industry Drum Circle, and was followed by Roomful of Pianos performances on Jan.19 and 20, and a Ukulele Circle on Jan.19.

Organizations Convene at the Third Annual Nonprofit Management Institute to Share Best Practices at The 2020 NAMM Show

Each winter, music nonprofits, NAMM Foundation partners and grantees gather in Anaheim, Ca, to participate in a unique networking opportunity at The NAMM Show. This year 135 organizations and 460 individuals attended the third-annual Nonprofit Management Institute.

A Joyful Day of Music Making for Students and NAMM Member Volunteers at Horace Mann Elementary School

On Jan. 14, 2020, NAMM members participated in a Day of Service, as part of The 2020 NAMM Show. Volunteers supported Anaheim Elementary School District’s (AESD) effort to bolster music education at Horace Mann Elementary School.
